Y'all, it started out VANILLA...

I started off by ticking off all the checkboxes society threw at me with precision. High school honors? Check. College degree with honors? Check. Climbing the career ladder? Check. But through those years, I became more and more drained. I was suffocating under the weight of control, manipulation, and undervaluation. And even though I was successful in the eyes of society, I was drowning in dissatisfaction, boredom, and financial struggles. Finally, it hit me… I DESERVE BETTER. I woke up to my worth and realized that I was meant for more.

My Story

I'll admit, I have never been the most agreeable person when it comes to someone else paving my path, telling me what to do, or feeling like they are allowed to control some aspect of my life. My dad once bought me a shirt that said “I’m sorry, I don’t take orders. I barely take suggestions.” And when it comes to the notion that Corporate America can dictate my every move from what I look like, to how I work, my schedule, and so many other aspects of my life, that is 100% true about me.

I have always been independent, self-sufficient, and creative. Even as a child, I could always play by myself and generate the most creative scenarios in my head. My brother would sometimes even get upset because I would often prefer my own company rather than play with him. Don’t get me wrong, I love my brother dearly and we enjoyed plenty of play time together, but that’s not the point of this story. What I wanted was total freedom to create my own story. To build my own world. To manifest the dream in my mind. And that still reigns true. TO. THIS. DAY.

My ultimate mission is to empower women to break free from the suffocating chains of corporate and societal expectation.
